Take a Look in the Barn

The horses used for the SPUR program are owned and maintained by the Monmouth County Park System. Most of the horses were generously donated to the program, but a few have been purchased. Each horse that comes to our program goes through a thorough 60 day trial period to determine if he or she is the ideal therapy horse.

Greener Pastures

The SPUR therapy horses are more than just horses. They are family, friend, and coworker rolled into one.

Each horse contributes his or her own special touch to each and every program.

 

When it is time to say goodbye we always do so with fond memories but heavy hearts.
